BUCHANAN, Mich. – Saturday was the final day of RedBud in Buchanan and a lot was at stake for motocross competitors at the famous race track.
The RedBud track is a focal point of the Lucas Oil Motocross Championship, but atv races are also held there throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall.
Scott Schmock, who attended the event, says that RedBud keeps getting better and better.
“It’s just a historic track that’s been here forever,” Schmock said. “I raced here in 1975 and it was one of my first races here and the history just continues to get better, look at it. It’s great.”
Practice began at 8 a.m. and lasted until noon as the consolation races took place before the main events, which lasted from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
