WASHINGTON, D.C. -- President Joe Biden has tested positive for COVID-19, the White House has confirmed.
He tested positive after appearing at an event in Las Vegas and was later expected to speak at the UnidosUS annual conference.
He is experiencing mild symptoms after feeling unwell and having a runny nose and a cough this afternoon.
Biden's doctor says he was given Paxlovid and he will be self-isolating at his home in Delaware, in accordance with CDC guidelines.
