Practicing medicine without a license investigation leads to Bremen woman's arrest

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana State Police report a lengthy investigation initiated by the Bremen Police Department conclude on Wednesday with the arrest of a Bremen woman.
Bremen police began an investigation into alleged practicing medicine without a license several months ago and requested assistance from ISP.
The investigation led to search warrants being executed at a residence in the 800 block of S.R. 331 in Bremen, the Aurelina Spa at 822 W. Plymouth St. in Bremen, and an additional business at 214 S. Indiana Ave. in Goshen.
As a result of evidence gathered, police arrested 38-year-old Aurelina Kiefer for Unlawful Practice, a Level 5 Felony, Corrupt Business Influence, Level 5 Felony, and Massage Therapy Licensure, a Class C-Misdemeanor.
Kiefer was taken to the Marshall County Jail.
Police were also assisted by the Goshen Police Department, Elkhart County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
