Pick-up truck splits in two from Monday morning crash

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana State Police reports troopers responded to the 24000 block of C.R. 50 in Elkhart County for a single-vehicle crash around 9:15 a.m. Monday.

The pick-up truck split in half from the crash, but police say the driver was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.

ISP said this crash is a reminder to people that seatbelts save lives and that you should slow down in the rain where hydroplaning is a risk.
