P-H-M Technology continues to review network files a week after ransomware attack

ABC 57

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Penn-Harris-Madison Schools announced another update regarding the ransomware attack on their network one week ago.

School officials say since their Cyber Security Team began its internal review to determine the risk to any data, and there's been no evidence to suggest student or employee databases were compromised.

Officials say the technology staff worked over the weekend and Skyward is now up and running for families and staff.

P-H-M Technology staff are continuing to review network files to determine the risk of unauthorized access to documents that may contain sensitive data, officials say.

The Cyber Security Team and staff will review file lists and folders with officials saying this phase will take several weeks.

Officials say there are many more steps to full recovery and restoration.
