UPDATE: Shooting in 1800 block of North Johnson Street deemed accidental, self-inflicted

UPDATE THREE: The South Bend Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit has determined the woman injured in this incident accidently discharged her firearm, injuring herself.

The case remains under investigation.

UPDATE TWO: The female victim was reported to be in stable condition by a report from the South Bend Police Department Wednesday morning.

The department also confirmed that this shooting was reported roughly half an hour after a shots fired call in the area of Nimtz Parkway and Bendix Drive, as well as 20 minutes before another shooting on Colfax Bridge. In the same report, the department stated there was no evidence the cases are related.

UPDATE: The victim was transported to the hospital for their injuries

ORIGINAL STORY: SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- At 9:33 p.m. a call came in of a shooting with one victim at 1800 block of North Johnson Street.

There is currently no word on injuries.
