Court documents show Anderson allegedly confronted Wayne Hubbard as he fished on the bridge at this intersection with his fiancé and child. Hubbard alleges Anderson came to him regarding an issue with his brother.

Documents show Anderson allegedly had a gun in his hand. Hubbard then allegedly grabbed a gun from his fiancé in an attempt to get Anderson to start. He then alleges Anderson raised his gun, leading him to fire his.

Officials say surveillance footage from the scene allegedly matches up with these allegations.

A review of Anderson's criminal history showed a conviction for Aggravated Battery in Florida, thus making him ineligible to own a gun..
