UPDATE THREE: In a Wednesday morning update from the South Bend Police Department, the victim was revealed to be a man currently being treated for serious injuries after suffering apparent gunshot wounds.

The department also confirmed this shooting was reported roughly 20 minutes after another shooting around N. Johnson Street, and roughly 50 minutes after a shots fired call in the area of Nimtz Parkway and Bendix Drive. The department stated there is no evidence the three cases are connected.

UPDATE TWO: The victim was transported to the hospital for their injuries.

UPDATE: Saint Joseph County dispatch confirm one victim was injured with no word on their injuries. 

Someone was detained.
