One arrested for arson in Benton Habor apartment fire Monday

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- One person was arrest at the scene of an apartment fire on Monday in Benton Harbor, the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety.

The BHDPS responded to an apartment fire in the 436 Broadway at 12:15 p.m. on Monday where they found apartment units showing smoke from the second floor or a two-story apartment complex.

"The fire was contained in one unit, with smoke and water damage throughout the building," BHDPS officials said. "Two families were displaced. One arrest was made at the scene for Arson. There were no injuries."
