SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame Women's Basketball Head Coach Niele Ivey sat down one-on-one with ABC57 Tipoff's Allison Hayes to reminisce about her past playing for the Irish, and what it's like to lead the program now.

Ivey also discusses her hopes for the season and her relationship with the team, including stars Hannah Hidalgo and Olivia Miles. 

"They're really growing up in front of everyone, because they've never, both of them never played with dominant guards like each other," Ivey said.

"So, they've done a great job of building that chemistry, really finding that trust within each other. They did a great job this summer of sometimes, you know Hannah's on the ball or off the ball, is vice versa for Liv just trying to make each other comfortable. And I think that's just a lot of unselfishness of their character, knowing that that's what we need to build chemistry, because both of them are so, so great, and it's just fun, just having both of them on the floor and just to see what they're doing and having just an outstanding season."
