Notre Dame student a 'person of interest' in disappearance of his dad

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- A Notre Dame student is a 'person of interest' in the disappearance of his dad -- that's according to WZZM, an ABC affiliate out of Detroit.

Patrick Mikes, Sr. was last seen on Friday.

Hours before he vanished, police said there was a violent fight in the family's home in Auburn Hills.

On Wednesday, Patrick Miles, Jr. appeared in court on separate charges.

He is accused of stealing and using his brother's credit card without permission. He's facing three felony counts.

We checked with the university on Wednesday. They confirmed that Mikes will be a senior in the fall.
