NILES, Mich. -- The Niles-Buchanan YMCA hosts its 42nd Annual Thanksgiving Day Run today!
The event features a 5k, 10k and a mile long fun run for families, younger kids, or anyone who wants to enjoy a shorter run!
This year, the YMCA saw a record breaking attendance, with just over 2,700 people registered!
Money raised from registration fees supports the Y's Annual Campaign, which supports youth programming and financial help to families through scholarships.
The run is made possible through generous community sponsors, and over 150 event volunteers.
