CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to a tow vehicle crash in Jefferson township at approximately 7:42p.m at the intersection of Daily Rd and M 60.

The investigation showed that a 24-year-old Osceola resident was driving southbound on Daily Road and did not yield right of way to a westbound vehicle on M 60.

Among the passengers in the 24-year old’s vehicle was a newborn child who was transported by ambulance to memorial hospital in South Bend. The child was properly restrained and did not appear to have any injuries.

The passengers in the second vehicle were also transported to Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
