Multi-vehicle crash leaves drivers and passengers injured Sunday afternoon

STARKE COUNTY, Ind. -- The Starke County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of S.R. 10 and 300 E after 1 p.m. Sunday.
The report states upon arrival, deputies secured the scene and closed the intersection due to the severity of the crash.
Authorities say the crash involved four vehicles. All sustained major damage and two vehicles required the extrication of the occupants.
Law enforcement determined a vehicle, driven by 19-year-old Koral Rogers, was traveling west, and was stopped, preparing to turn south onto 300 E.
At that time, deputies say another vehicle, driven by 62-year-old Lori Craft, was also traveling west and failed to stop, rear-ending Rogers’ vehicle.
The report states the impact caused Craft’s vehicle to spin into the eastbound lanes, where it was struck by an oncoming vehicle, driven by 29-year-old Kaitlyn Dombrosky.
Authorities say Dombrosky’s vehicle then rolled and landed on a vehicle, driven by 22-year-old Abigail Thomas, stopped at 300 E, waiting at the stop sign to turn onto S.R. 10.
Deputies say all drivers sustained injuries and were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
The passengers involved included a 38-year-old woman and a juvenile, who were also taken to the hospital for medical care.
Authorities say this crash remains under investigation and further details will be released as they become available.
