Michigan State Police Niles Post annual "Stuff A Blue Goose"

NILES, Mich. --The Michigan State Police Niles post is planning its annual "Stuff A Blue Goose" event, with collections of toys, gift cards, toiletries and food items to support the needs of the less fortunate community members.

For decades, the "Blue Goose" has been a moniker describing an MSP patrol vehicle, and a "Blue Goose" will be outside the Walmart at 2107 S. 11 Street Niles and the Meijer Store at 5019 Red Arrow Hwy in Stevensville, Saturday, November 19, joined by troopers volunteering to collect your donations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Michigan State Police wants to collect as many items as possible during the 4-hour block period to redistribute the donated items to Mosaic Wonderland Toy Store, Cass County Toys for Tots, Redbud Area Ministries and Helping Hands of Cass County, with these donations staying local to assist families in Southwest Michigan.

The Mosaic Wonderland Toy Store is for families unable to afford Christmas gifts for their children, and the store needs toys for children of all ages and gifts cards $50 or less for teenagers, with Cass County Toys for Tots in need of new toys and Redbud Area Ministries and Helping Hands of Cass County in need of nonperishable food items.

Come support "STUFF A BLUE GOOSE" on Saturday, November 19 for the ninth-year event hosted by the Michigan State Police Niles post, which donations are currently accepted at the Michigan State Police Niles Post.

A special thanks in advance for the continued support, as well as the support from Meijer and Walmart for their ongoing partnership.
