The Michiana Festival of Beers has been scheduled for October 16 at Four Winds Field.

The event will feature regional breweries, local food and live music.

It runs from 2 - 5 p.m.

Tickets are $30 in advance, $40 at the door, $5 for designated drivers.

The annual craft beer sampling festival will benefit Resale to the Rescue.

There are 24 breweries, cideries and meaderies, plus 4 home brew clubs participating.

Attendees will receive a commemorative 5 oz. sampling mug and can visit all the brewery booths for sampling.

Local food trucks will be on site as well.

The event is rain or shine.
