MDOT Berrien County rebuilding finished for the winter

COLOMA, Mich. -- The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has completed the second year in its three-year $204 million plan to rebuild I-94 in Berrien County.

All ramps have reopened, and all westbound lanes are expected to reopen by Monday, Nov. 24. 8.5 miles of I-94 have been rebuilt, alongside four bridges.

In 2026, crews will return to rebuild the eastbound I-94 lanes and ramps between Britain Avenue and Washington Avenue.
