The 41-year-old was found unresponsive in his home last week.
Kuspa, who went by the nickname 'Pugs', served for almost two decades with The Ekhart Fire Department.
Kuspa was a member of the Honor Guard, Water Rescue Team, and served on the Tactical Rescue Team.
Today, a somber funeral service was held at the Holy Family Church in South Bend.
