ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Lerner Theatre announced "The Lerner Theatre Loves You," a free movie series to celebrate their 100th anniversary, will begin Feb. 23, at 3 p.m.

Theater officials say the free screenings are designed to thank the community for its continued support.

The series will take place monthly on select Sunday afternoons at 3 p.m. and include a mix of film classics and family favorites selected from the last 100 years, according to organizers.

The series was made possible by the Elkhart County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

“The Elkhart County CVB invites everyone to join us in celebrating more than a century of arts, culture, and unforgettable moments. By offering this gift to the community which has supported The Lerner over the years, we are highlighting the central role the Lerner has played in anchoring downtown Elkhart's arts scene and the community of makers that call Elkhart County home.” said Jon Hunsberger, executive director of the Elkhart County CVB.

Theater officials say due to film licensing restrictions, any film titles are not permitted in usage for newsprint, radio, or TV, but you can view the list of films here.
