BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Around 11 p.m. on Friday, June 19, Officers were dispatched to 105 S. Fair for a report of a shooting victim.   

Upon arrival, Officers located a 49-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. He was treated on scene before being transported to a hospital for further evaluation and treatment but is expected to make a full recovery.

Investigators are still working on locating the suspect. Benton Township Police Department believes this an isolated incident and not related to any earlier incidents.
