LAKEVILLE, Ind.--- Lakeville is hosting a Fourth of July fireworks celebration at Newton Park. The celebration will be viewed by 500 people who were selected after donating to the park's 'Flag the Field' campaign.
The Flag the Field drive was held to cover the costs of the fireworks show. The park sold more than 2,000 flags that will be planted in the field where people could view the fireworks in previous years.
The park then chose 50 families that will be able to view the display from the two parking lots at Newton Park.
