Lake Michigan College opens registration for Fab Lab Summer Camps

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Lake Michigan College announced registration is now open for their Fab Lab Summer Camps, which include a variety of options, including two brand new camps.
The camp sessions will take place in the Hanson Technology Fab Lab on the LMC Benton Harbor Campus at 2755 E. Napier Ave.
LMC officials say the summer camps aim to provide attendees as young as 6 with fun, hands-on projects that spark creativity and allow participants to develop collaboration, teamwork, critical thinking, along with communication skills.
Campers will explore various tools in a supervised setting, including 3D printers, laser cutters, vinyl cutters, CNC routers, Adobe Creative Suite, embroidery and sewing machines, and more.
LMC faculty and staff will run each camp.
The camps range is cost from $135 to $370 per camper with sessions taking place throughout June, July, and August.
