Summer fun at Farmers Market Kids Day and Luau Weekend at NIBCO Roller Rink

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Elkhart Parks and Recreation announced it will be Kids Day at the Elkhart Farmers Market on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and, as part of its themed summer events, it's Luau Weekend at NIBCO Water and Ice Park Roller Rink.

Organizers encourage you to bring the whole family to the Elkhart Farmers Market at Kardzhali Park, where you can shop kid vendors, and enjoy games and activities for kids of all ages.

Of course, organizers say there will be fresh produce and local goodies too.

There will also be free snow cones, a firetruck, and the Hall of Heroes Superhero Museum be present.

At the NIBCO Roller Rink, the community is invited to enjoy a tropical Luau Weekend.

Skaters are encouraged to wear their best Hawaiian attire and enjoy a weekend filled with roller skating, music, and island vibes.

Other upcoming themed days include Country Night on July 25, Barbie Weekend from August 9 to 11, and Disco Night on August 29.

Skate rentals are $3 per hour per adult and $2 per hour per kid.

The roller rink is open Friday from 4 to 9 p.m., Saturday noon to 8 p.m., and Sunday noon to 6 p.m.
