Juvenile injured in UTV crash

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a single UTV crash at approximately 2:37 p.m. today, Aug. 18, on Brush Lake Road.
The crash occurred in Pokagon Township on the dirt road portion of Brush Lake Road, with the investigation showing the driver of the UTV to be a male juvenile.
The male juvenile driver is said to have lost control on the rocks and rolled the UTV onto its top, with the driver having not sustained any injuries.
His passenger, another male juvenile, was transported to South Bend Memorial for minor injuries sustained in the crash.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, which still remains under investigation.
