Former South Bend teacher sentenced for Enticing a Minor Under 16 for Sexual Purpose

Buena Vista County Jail: William Cramer BUENA VISTA COUNTY, Iowa -- Former Washington High School teacher and Penn High School freshman basketball coach William Cramer has been sentenced in Iowa after entering a guilty plea agreement in connection with enticing a minor.
Court documents from Buena Vista County, Iowa reveal Cramer entered into a guilty plea agreement for Enticing a Minor Under 16 for Sexual Purpose.
His other charge, Grooming, was dismissed as a result.
Cramer was sentenced to a suspended five-year sentence for which he will serve probation.
Cramer was employed at a Penn from August 2024 to October 2025.
Cramer was employed at Washington before being fired in April.
Cramer was also ordered to register as a sex offender within the county.
