Joann Fabrics files for bankruptcy, six local stores to close with hundreds more

ABC 57 ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- According to documents filed on Wednesday in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Joann Inc. of Joann Fabrics has filed for Chapter 11 Bancruptcy.
Documents state the company will close 500 of stores, including locations in Michiana.
Local stores closing:
- Goshen
- Michigan City
- Plymouth
- Mishawaka
- South Bend
- Benton Harbor
