Jimtown Junior High student, football player, dies after leukemia battle

Jimtown Football ELKHART, Ind. -- A local middle school student athlete has passed away following a battle with leukemia.
Family and athletic officials at Baugo Community Schools confirm the death of 8th grader Oscar Madrigal-Avalos.
He was a member of the Jimtown Junior High Jimmies football team.
A Facebook page connected to the family says Oscar was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in June.
