IU students are on high alert
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Women on Indiana University's campus are on high alert.
Police are taking action after a string of assaults took place on the Bloomington campus.
The most recent happened Saturday when a man grabbed a woman and told her he had a gun.
It is a reminder for all female students to never walk alone late at night and keep their guard up.
"It's definitely really terrifying. It's scary and there's always that possibility that could happen, but really, I think it could happen anywhere," said IU student Tatiana Martinez.
The girl in the most recent attack was able to run away and escape to a friend's house.
Bloomington police say the man they are looking for is in his 20's, with short blonde hair and scruffy facial hair.
