ST JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.-- The St Joseph County Police are investigating a recent bomb threat against Republican State Senator Linda Rogers.
Authorities say that there is no threat was found and that the incident is believed to be a swatting event
Rogers released a statement earlier today saying that she has been the victim of several intimidation incidents.
The senator tells ABC57 that both the St Joseph County Police Department and Indiana State Police are working to get to the bottom of the incident, and she is grateful for their swift response.
Sheriff Bill Redmen says, "Swatting is not a prank. It's dangerous and puts countless lives at risk."
