NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Brainstorming, creativity and innovation.
Local teams spent the weekend at Notre Dame coming up with start-up business ideas.
And in the end, there can be only one.
Sunday, the final eight teams gave their final presentations.
The judges are looking for three things: business model, customer validation, and execution.
They say this weekend is about bringing something fresh to Michiana.
"What we try to do with something like start-up weekend is just put some really great people in the room, let sparks fly, let innovation happen," says David Murphy, Notre Dame Associate Dean.
The winning group is called Three-Square.
Their project is a comic generator that let's you take Facebook photos and put them in a comic strip!
For winning, they will receive six months' worth of office space at Innovation Park.
