INDIANA – Indiana State Police are partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration to offer Hoosiers a chance to get rid of unwanted, unused, and expired medication.
On Saturday, Oct. 24, citizens can drop off their prescription drugs at any Indiana State Police Post between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
This does not include the Toll Road post.
Posts will accept medications like pills, cough syrup, and vaping pens that don’t have batteries and vaping cartridges in them.
This free and anonymous program does not, however, accept new or used needles.
