Indiana accepting applications for road, bridge funding through January

Applications are now open for the spring 2024 Community Crossings Matching Grant Program, providing funding to local road and bridge projects through the Indiana Department of Transportation.

INDOT is accepting applications through January 31.

Funding is distributed to Indiana towns, cities and counties based on population size:

• Cities and towns with a population of fewer than 10,000 residents receive funds using a 75/25 match
• Cities and towns with a population of greater than 10,000 residents receive funds using a 50/50 match
• Counties with a population of fewer than 50,000 residents receive funds using a 75/25 match
• Counties with a population of greater than 50,000 residents receive funds using a 50/50 match

Applications should be submitted by 5 p.m. on January 31.
