'Ice Cream Trains' event taking place August 31-September 1 in Starke County

STARKE COUNTY, Ind. -- The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum is hosting an 'Ice Cream Trains' event on August 31 and September 1 in North Judson.

Visitors can enjoy an ice cream before boarding a train to ride around the Indiana countryside.

People can choose from a coach or open-air seating when purchasing a ticket for diesel trains. Steam trains will have open-air or caboose seating only.

The train ride will last 45 minutes.
