I-94 lane closures expected to begin March 14 in La Porte County

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. – Drivers will experience lane closures along I-94 in La Porte County beginning Monday, the Indiana Department of Transportation announced.

Bridge work will affect the road between U.S. 421 and U.S. 20/35 (Exits 34 and 40).

The right lane and shoulder in both the eastbound and westbound directions will be closed between W. 400 N. and Bleck Road.

Two lanes with shoulders will stay open in both directions.

These lane closures are part of phase one of the bridge replacement project east of Johnson Road.

The lanes are expected to remain closed through late June.
