"Paint the Ice" at Compton Family Ice Arena April 29
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Notre Dame Ice Hockey program is inviting fans to come together one final time this season to paint the ice this Monday, April 29, at the Compton Family Ice Arena.
There is no registration required and fans are encouraged to enter via the main entrance of the arena.
From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. the event is open to all Season Ticket Members and includes exclusive access to the Notre Dame team locker room for a photo opportunity," organizers said. "The general public is then invited to attend and paint the ice from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. while Notre Dame faculty, staff and students, along with Saint Mary’s and Holy Cross students are invited to attend for the duration of the event."
Fans are encouraged to park in the Walsh Lot due to current construction in the Compton lot, and to wear sneakers to go on the ice.
"An event first hosted in 2018, this is a fun opportunity to fill the ice with fun, personalized messages using paint provided by the fan experience team," organizers said.
