Hunters needed for upcoming Deer Management Program at Bendix Woods

NEW CARLISLE, Ind. -- Hunters are needed for a Deer Management Program at Bendix Woods County Park later this fall.

The hunt will take place on November 19 and 20. Bendix Woods County Park will be closed to the public on those days to allow for a safe hunt.

Three hunters plus one alternate will be selected by a lottery. Hunters must possess an Indiana Bonus Antlerless License.

The deadline to apply for the hunt is October 7.  A mandatory meeting with park staff is required and will be held on October 26 at 6 p.m. at the Bendix Woods Nature Center.
