Governor Braun addresses agenda items halfway through legislative session

 

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Indiana Governor, Mike Braun, held a "halftime" address on Tuesday, sharing some of the highlights from the opening half of the first legislative session of his term.

Some of the bills Governor Braun highlighted included: House Bill 10-03, 10-04, 16-66, and Senate Bill's 1-18 and 1-40.

He covered a wide range of topics in his address, from school safety improvements, to freedom and opportunity agenda items, rising property taxes and more.

Braun also answered questions about budget cuts and how the state of Indiana has the ability to be more surgical with its cuts in comparison to DOGE and the federal government.
