Goshen welfare check turns into Elkhart County Homicide Unit investigation

GOSHEN, Ind. -- On Oct. 13 at approximately 5:23 p.m. Goshen Police were dispatched to a welfare check at 810 South Indiana Avenue.
Upon arriving Goshen Police met with the family members of the subject of the welfare call. The Elkhart County Homicide Unit was contacted to investigate due to the nature of the incident.
This is an active investigation at this time, and we will update when we learn more.
