Goshen Parks and Rec hosting Kerry's Kids 18th annual Kids' and Teens' Triathlon on July 6

GOSHEN, Ind. -- Goshen Parks and Recreation has announced that they will be hosting Kerry's Kids 18th annual Kids' & Teens' Triathlon on July 6.

Participants between the ages of 5 and 18 are welcome to compete. The competition will be chip timed.

For the first time, kids in the 13 to 18 age group can now enter as a team of two to three people.

While some portions are competitive, the main focus is finishing the race. Parents are able to run with their children during the running portion of the race.

During this portion, parents are able to participate to show their support and be involved in a healthy lifestyle with their children.

Distances will vary depending on the age group and each participant will do them consecutively.

Registration is $30 per child and $20 per child if they are on a team.
