ELKHART, Ind. - High school football season is underway in Indiana, and one of the state's best rivalries began the new year by closing its long history.
Elkhart Central and Elkhart Memorial played their final Battle for the Mangy Lion, a matchup which they've held since 1972. This year, Elkhart Central maintained its hold on the unique trophy, going out with a 41-21 win over their cross-town rivals and future teammates. View the highlights in the video above!
