Fundraiser held to help rescued dog become certified therapy dog

South Bend FOP Lodge #36

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend FOP Lodge #36 announced they're selling coffee and cigars to raise funds for Zeus, the Doberman rescued in February 2024 who had his snout zip-tied, to attend a training program to become a therapy dog.

Organizers say Zeus passed a temperament test and is now a candidate to become a therapy dog.

Zeus would be utilized as a therapy dog through the South Bend FOP.

South Bend Police Officer Stephanie Northcutt adopted Zeus in 2024 after she found him with his mouth zip-tied.

Coffee for sale includes bags and K-cups of Pecan Bourbon-Infused, Police Medium Roast, and Tier-1 Caffeine-Infused.

Cigar options include Especial Habano, Maduro, and Delta Limited.

For more information and to make an order, you can reach out to Northcutt at [email protected].
