Four Winds entertainment manager talks summertime pool parties& more

It's starting to look and feel a lot like summertime across Michiana and there is nothing quite like creating childhood memories at a splash pad, especially for students in Mishawaka who just are enjoying their first day of summer vacation at Central Park.

“I think we’ve all been waiting a really long time for this weather, and coming out to the parks and getting to use the splash pads and beaches and pools, I'm ready,” said Jeanette Rupczynski.

But the kids aren't the only ones enjoying the opening of water facilities across Michiana - adults can get in on the fun too!

"We’re so excited here in South Bend and New Buffalo. The pool is open for the summer, for guests staying at the hotel, and then on Saturday nights for our pool parties,” said Dawn Stokes, the Four Winds Entertainment Manager.

The brand new Four Winds Casino pool is open for its first summer. Most Saturday nights will be a pool party where everyone is invited for various live music acts and themes.

“You don’t have to go to Vegas to see national touring acts… we have a lot of that coming up,” said Stokes.

They’ll have live music all summer long at their locations across Michiana but this weekend they are remembering the true spirit of the holiday.

“But I’d remiss if I didn’t take the chance to say Memorial Day is to remember those who served our country and lost and gave the biggest sacrifice,” Stokes said.
