SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Steve Angeli has officially left the transfer portal.
Entering the transfer portal on April 17, Angeli announced this evening that he will be joining Syracuse this fall.
A veteran quarterback and backup to quarterback Riley Leonard last season, Angeli helped lead the Irish to a playoff victory over Penn State last season after subbing in when Leonard got injured.
Angeli also threw for 268 yards with three touchdowns in limited action last season.
