Heavy rain, high winds, and hail are main severe concerns today
A much cooler weekend is the forecast for the entire region. Temperatures will start in the 40s and struggle to warm into the mid-60s Saturday. Large dangerous waves are expected along the Lake Michigan shoreline, lake effect rain showers are possible near the shore, a less than 30% chance. There's also a non-zero, but still low chance of a waterspout near the shoreline, it's possible but that chance is very low. The weather is fair but summer heat is not over. Temperatures will rise into the 90s next week and the drought will worsen over the next ten days.
Tonight: Early AM lake showers. Low 46.
Saturday: Partly cloudy. High 64.
Sunday: Sunny. High 74.
Monday: Sunny. High 84.
