Fatal traffic crash in Dowagiac

Photo courtesy: Cass County Sheriff\'s Office DOWAGIAC, Mich. -- Friday night at 10:11 p.m., Deputies received a report about a fatal car crash on Dixon Street East.
When Deputies arrived on scene they found a 2004 Chevy Truck belonging to 18-year-old Maynor Hernandez.
Hernandez was driving east on Dixon Street when he lost control of his vehicle, went off the road, overturned, and hit a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not known if drugs or alcohol contributed to the accident and Hernandez was not wearing a seatbelt.
