Experts: Price at the pump could soon jump

If you're gas tank is getting low, you might want to fill up.

The price at the pump could soon jump. It’s unclear right now on how much prices will jump or exactly when, but experts say since crude oil prices haven’t really dropped.

The recent slide over the past few weeks could be coming to an end. Across the country prices haven't moved for the last week.

Currently the national average is still $3.42 a gallon, but locally Michiana has seen some change. Area gas stations are down about 15 cents from last week.

According to gasbuddy.com, prices are about $3.34 a gallon in South Bend, but can be as low as $3.22 at some stations.

Michiana gas stations are about 37 cents lower than a month ago and no word yet on exactly when prices could soar.
