Enjoying Summerfest by bus

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Back by popular demand at this year's Summerfest was the historic bus tour put on by the Hannah Lindahl Children's Museum!

Dozens of people signed up for the tour that happened twice a day, both Friday and Saturday!
 
For $10.00, folks boarded a Mishawaka school bus and were taken to various historic locations around Mishawaka.
 
One stop was the Shiojiri Garden. 
 
There was also a tent set up at Summerfest for folks who wanted brush up on their historical facts.
 
"We have a tent here today and a small exhibit about historic toys, so it tells some history about some historic toys that you might not be aware of; for instance Play-Doh was originally invented as a wallpaper cleaner." 
 
The money raised from this weekend's bus tours will go towards the upkeep of the children's museum which generally gives guided historic tours to school children throughout the school year.
