SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- This past week has been very cold, making it challenging to enjoy Michiana's favorite winter activities. Let’s recap some of the coldest temperatures this month.

The recent cold snap brought highs in the single digits, a low of -5°, and wind chills hitting -25°. With these temperatures, many people did not want to do leave their homes, let alone do any outdoor events.
Thankfully, we will see a warm-up in the coming days, perfect for outdoor fun! Enjoy ice skating at Howard Park in South Bend or Ironworks in Mishawaka or even snow tubing at George Wilson Park.
