Elkhart Police investigate shooting on West Marion Street

UPDATE: Elkhart police arrested 49-year-old Adrian Mcpherson in connection with the shooting.

ELKHART, Ind- The Elkhart Police Department is actively investigating a shooting that occurred in the 500 block of West Marion Street in Elkhart Friday afternoon.
Friday, first responders rendered aid to a 42-year-old male suffering from gun-shot wounds. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
