Indianapolis man arrested in connection with Elkhart shooting

ELKHART, Ind. - The Elkhart Police Department arrested an Indianapolis man in connection with a shooting on West Marion Street on Friday.
Adrian Mcpherson, 49, was arrested on preliminary charges of aggravated battery and battery with a deadly weapon.
A 42-year-old man was injured in the shooting.
He was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
